Get your HEAD RIGHT before selecting an MLM

Here’ are the 8 principles and strategies necessary to “get your head on right” before you embark on selecting the BEST network marketing company.
1. There’s only one reason for starting and maintaining a successful business and that is to make a profit by acquiring and retaining customers. If you’re not making a profit, you’re not helping anyone. It’s your birthright and your responsibility as an entrepreneur to create abundance in your life and in the lives of others.
2. Most home-based business owners are not business people and they don’t have any ambition to be financially free. They’re simply self-employed worker bees who have created a job for themselves, and they can’t afford to quit that job. They generally have little or no control over their time or money, and they will eventually give up and go back to working for someone else.
3. Would you rather be right or rich? Seek assistance. Seek solutions. Constantly act on advice from people qualified to give it.
4. If you want a lucrative home-based business and it’s not network marketing, be prepared to work much harder for less money. Nothing is better for leveraging your time, energy, and money than a home-based network marketing business.
5. Most people come to me trying to rationalize why they selected the company they did. They’re not coming to me for my advice or counsel; they’re coming to me for my approval. When I don’t give it, they usually go away incensed. Others approach me for my advice after they’ve selected their company, not before. To them, their truth is more important than the truth. Don’t fall into this trap. Get advice from those who know the truth, don’t make up your own truth to justify hasty decisions.
6. To make the right company choice, first clear your mind of all existing ideas, ventures, or schemes. Companies you may know nothing about now can be very lucrative alternatives to the struggle you’re currently experiencing.
7. One of the greatest secrets to becoming a master marketer is to learn how to pay attention to the marketplace. Start paying attention to all of the messages people are sending out to the marketplace through media, Internet, and word-of-mouth, and you’ll begin to understand how master marketers think and act.
8. Don’t forget to ask for help. There are thousands of mentors out there who are willing, and even eager, to share their knowledge, wisdom, and experience with the right student. When you persist in asking for help, even if you get a few refusals, you’ll eventually find someone willing to advise you. A great mentor will save you years of frustration and tens of thousands of dollars.
